My Story

I grew up in Cincinnati ended up playing for Ohio Elite ECNL before continuing my soccer journey at NKU. From a young age, I was honored to be selected for the U.S. National Futsal Team, experiences that shaped my love for the game and fueled my growth as a player and coach.

About Me

Hi, I’m Lauren Deckert. I’m a soccer coach who’s worked with players from U6 all the way through Girls Academy levels. I previously served as a director for both Cincinnati United and Get Sharp Futsal, where I supported coaches, built training plans, and helped run player development programs. I’ve also coached at Girls Academy Talent ID events.

In my youth, I played on the U.S. National Futsal Team and was invited to the national training camp in July 2024. I also spent time playing college soccer at Northern Kentucky University. I started coaching at 16, and by 18 I found my love for the game all over again through coaching.

I hold my U.S. Soccer D License and have coached at multiple competitive levels, managing a wide range of teams and players. I love creating training environments that build confidence, strong decision-making, and a genuine love for the sport.
